Enhanced Support from UniCura Health is the highest level of non-medical in-home care we offer in Morgantown and North Central West Virginia: evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays, and extended or around-the-clock coverage for seniors with complex routines, advanced dementia, or end-of-life needs.
Everything in Personal Care.
Evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Extended shifts and stacked hours, up to 24-hour coverage in the home with a small, consistent team so the client sees the same faces.
Awake overnight care, or sleeping overnight care where appropriate, as agreed in the care plan.
Advanced dementia support: structured days, redirection, managing sundowning, and a written routine the whole team follows.
Comfort-focused support alongside hospice: repositioning, hydration and mouth care, keeping the home calm, and being present with the client and family.
Two-caregiver visits for safe transfers when needed.
Higher-frequency check-ins from our office and a named point of contact for the family.
Skilled nursing. Enhanced Support works alongside home health and hospice nurses; it does not replace them.
Anything from a nightly 10 pm to 6 am shift, to weekend coverage while a family caregiver rests, to full 24-hour coverage split across two or three caregivers. Many families combine Enhanced Support hours with other funding (long-term care insurance, VA benefits, or a Medicaid waiver once approved) to build a stacked-hours plan; see FAQ & Pricing.
Enhanced Support always starts with an in-home assessment by our clinical leadership and a written 24-hour routine. Because these schedules are staff-intensive, we ask for as much notice as the family can give; for urgent starts, use the Hospital-to-Home page or call.
