Dementia Care (90-Day Dementia Starter)

The UniCura 90-Day Dementia Starter is a structured first three months of in-home dementia care for families in Morgantown and North Central West Virginia facing a new or worsening diagnosis: a consistent caregiver team, a written daily routine, and coaching for the family, so the household settles before a crisis forces a decision.

Who This is for

Weeks 1–2: Settle

In-home assessment, a written daily routine built around the person's history and habits, home safety adjustments, and caregiver introduction at a pace the client can tolerate.

Weeks 3–8: Steady

A consistent small caregiver team (we cap the number of different caregivers a dementia client sees; number to be confirmed), the routine refined week by week, and short family coaching sessions on communication, redirection, and sundowning.

Weeks 9–12: Plan forward

A review meeting with the family: what's working, what's changed, and a written plan for the months ahead, whether that is continuing at the same level, stepping up to Enhanced Support, or adding Care Oversight for out-of-town family.

After 90 Days

Care continues on the tier that fits (usually Personal Care or Enhanced Support) with the same caregiver team. The Starter is a way of beginning well, not a separate product with a separate price; hours are billed at the tier rate.
